2026 Herbert C. Arico Scholarships - Applications Now Open!

We are pleased to announce the application process is now open for our 2026 Herbert C. Arico Scholarship.

• To be eligible, you must complete and submit our online scholarship application by March 31, 2026. 
• The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to those who are committed to improving their lives and their community by furthering their education. 
• You are eligible if you plan to attend or are attending any post-secondary educational institution. Qualifying institutions include universities, colleges, technical schools, trade, and vocational training institutions. 

Our scholarship program is named after Herbert C. Arico, a WWII veteran who taught at Windham High School for 58 years and served on the Northeast Family Credit Union’s Board of Directors from 1964 to 2023. Northeast Family Credit Union began in 1938 to serve educators. Having merged with Self-Help Federal Credit Union in May of 2025, we continue to promote education through our Herbert C.
